Ollie Robinson says he hopes tye pitch will bring the spinners into it as the game goes on...I'm not sure I do, especially if Ahmed is back. The one time we've come unstuck this season in red ball cricket was against Sussex when the third innings of the game proved decisive after two big first innings scores. Alastair Cook has spoken about sides getting into trouble in the third innings when they either have an insignificant lead or any sort of defecit.
A good morning session for us should end any slight chance of things going pear shaped and we could well go on and win ...but imagine if Ackermann puts Leicestershire in pole position and then Callum P rolls us over. Maybe Ahmed coming back isn't the concern- losing thanks to the performances of two players we have just signed would be another comical entry in the diary of disaster.
Surely it couldn't happen...I can't see it, Leicestershire winning as of now must be the least likely outcome but can't be ruled out.

Potts is released by England for the last two days. Nothing mentioned about Ahmed.
