not for me

774 runs at 22, SR 40, 1 century, 2 fifties, 87 dismissals

not an upgrade on Robbo, 5268 runs at 35's SR 67, 10 centuries, 28 fifties, 331 dismissals

Robbo is only 2 years older than Duke (27/25)

surprisingly, still only 29 Bracey has 7200 runs at 38's, SR 53, 21 centuries, 29 fifties, 304 dismissals. I reckon that dismissal rate would go much higher if he was keeping to our attack than that boasted by Gloucs

According to the cricketer, Ben Cox is expected to leave Leicestershire at the end of season with Blake being signed from Surrey, Tattersall with 2 years left on his deal and Handscomb expected to return next year

600 div 1 runs in 10 games at 43, a 95% chance conversion rate behind the stumps and not single dropped catch all season, seemingly

Cox is a top class player. Wouldn't mind having him at Durham.

Quickfire 50 from Stokes but out immediately afterwards before he could cause carnage. Super hundred from. Argawal. I wonder if he'd be an option next year ,- would he a better option than ageing fast bowlers. And presumably would he available all season- don't think he plays IPL these days.

This will probably jinx it but Robinson is off to a quick start. The sun is out, pitch good and the opposition are pn the back foot. Let's hope he can take advantage after tea.

looked good, Robbo. Didn't seem to get into any difficulty.

Seems to be one of those pitches where there's movt for the bowlers, but if batters can get in then there's plenty there for them too (should suit Libby :facepalm ). Agarwal looked really good for his hundred, didn't offer a chance until he was 109 when Worcs dropped a dolly at shortish mid wicket. Worcs dropped another dolly at first slip too.... might have been Aldridge. Stokes looked fluent again before getting trapped the ball after he crunched a boundary for his 50.

450 ought to be a formality in the morning. Fingers crossed for Robbo. Worcs didn't bowl that well really. Gibbon looked good, Taylor and Waite had moments where they looked in control, but also had 12 or 13 run overs mixed in. Allison was bang average, Dolly was poor, but had to bowl more than he should after Mir left the field.

I had a rotten night's sleep and I'm laden with cold, so didn't go down and opted to watch on the feed from the comfort of my chair, I'll see how I feel tomorrow

A shame he missed out but an innings much more like his old self.
I must admit I thought Worcestershire- with nothing to play for - might capitulate this afternoon but fair play to them for showing some fight.

I'm certain of course that the bowlers are giving their all but it must be hard , after a long season, to maintain standards when the main aim of promotion has been achieved.
A draw would be fine but what we don't want is a 3rd innings collapse that risks losing the unbeaten run. There's probably not enough time left for that but you just never know!

a good end to the day, taking just 9 deliveries with the new ball to take 2 late wickets. 270-5 looks a whole lot better than 270-3
