sussexpob wrote:But lets be honest here...... Does anyone remotely think that Andy Flower will tolerate taking orders from somone as slack, casual and incompetent as Key? I think there is no way in hell Flower quits a cushty T20 career earning big money to take orders from a person who represent's his anti-Christ.

There is a suggestion that he could be allowed to continue in his role at RCB, but he also has a job in the Centiball too, which would be more problematic, so if the ECB were to employ him again it would cost them an awful lot of money, even with him keeping his RCB role.

I can see the ECB going with Flower again. It would certainly be a culture shock for the players, so it depends on whether it's believed to be a good thing. His last tenure, whilst successful, became quite a corrosive regime over time. Maybe Flower learnt some lessons from that too.

As for Key....... it wouldn't surprise me if the ECB are in a holding pattern waiting for the green light from Alec Stewart, which if it comes at all, won't come until the end of season

England top order blown away with 3 wickets in 6 balls. Then the middle order loses 2 in 4 balls. So now it's down to Root again.

Two million, three hundred and thirty seven thousand views on this thread

where on earth does it go? Who gets to see this stuff?

and does this happen on other threads?

If it does, then let me just say that I love Donald Trump.... I think he's great....... and there's absolutely no reason to send ICE round to my house in the middle of the night

England look to have done ok to keep India to 233 in Cardiff. Duckett out first ball of the reply though.

Brook and Jacks. I was just thinking to myself that I was quite pleased to see him showing some nous then he goes and does that having got away with one the ball before.
