Have to make that wicket count now.

Green, Inglis, Carey, Neser.... doesn't strike me as a world class middle order, if England can bowl well they have a chance to run through a couple of these batters.

At least Archer started off poorly, and improved. The others were pretty consistent. Archer was the only real threat.

For me Atkinson been the pick in this session would bring him on again before the interval for a short burst

I'd bet the house on it at this point.

Sounds good, I'm all for it.

I'd go Atkinson now, stokes and carse out of sorts...get Atkinson back and nip one out before the break

Carse especially has bowled poorly. Another partnership forming here, and England once again starting to get into badly needing a wicket territory.

Think that middle order stays like that now, or do they move head back to 5 next test and bring ussie back? I think head will stay at top of the order....

Feel stokes missed his chance to bowl jack's earlier...he isn't gonna bowl tonight now and if he bowls tomorrow it's because the quicks are exhausted and game is gone....so pointless selecting him

Another over of absolute dross.

The batsmen got the blame for the first game but 200 shouldve been tough on that wicket

The bowlers have been crap as well other than that first innings

First two sessions belonged to Australia, but the tricky evening session to go.

It's about now I'd like to see Travis Head coming in next wicket.

I wonder if the choice of "Tea" then "Dinner" for the names of DN sessions upset our friends in Northern England....

Obviously anything is possible, but as BFP says, it really feels like the series will be decided in the next 2 sessions of this game.

England need to get into the tail tonight at least. If Australia are 3/4/5 down and at parity, England are in miracle street for both the series and match.

They constantly confuse me.

They should just call it lunch and tea - so we know which is the 40 minute break, and which is the 20 minute one.

The twilight zone hasn't delivered the mayhem that was promised, so far.

And yesterday, Root batted through the dark quite well. Batting not really a lottery.

I can stand losing the series. Even a Mitch2wash. It's just Steve Smith scoring runs I can't take.

Looking at the scorecard surely inglis won't bat 7 and will be in next...otherwise no point bringing him in don't need a specialist bat at 7, otherwise Webster will be another one with a right to feel 'filthy' about not being selected...
