Weekly Top 5
1. Liam Livingstone - 221 - The Lancashire man is ploughing the franchise furrow very well this winter, taking in his second franchise tournament of (I believe) four he will play before next Summer. This marks his first ever Cricketer of the Week.
2. Nat Sciver-Brunt - 212- Is proving the lynchpin to Hobart's very successful WBBL. Could have got even more if it were not for Friday's wash out against Adelaide.
3. Suryakumar Yadav - 163 - A decent score for SKY this week but he might have hoped for more seeming as he played three matches against quite mixed bowling attacks in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
4. Phil Salt - 149 - 256 runs across the competition has really helped Phil Salt's figures this year.....just as it did last time out. He moves into 6th place overall.
5. Pathum Nissanka - 142 - A disappointing score in the final of the T20 tri-series against Pakistan was soon dispelled with a match winning knock of 81 for the Gulf in his first game of the ILT20.
Overall Top 5
1. Sam Curran - 4303 - Not the most electric return to action for our top player as he bagged 37 points in his first game of the ILT20. He needs a performance soon as the gap is now less than 100 between him and second.
2. Nat Sciver-Brunt - 4219 - Zoning in on top spot but you feel like there might not be enough games for her left this year to claim that place in 26 days.
3. Ravindra Jadeja - 3926 - After spending 6 weeks in 5th, he has decided to skip 4th entirely and instead launch himself into the Top 3 courtesy of two OK performances against South Africa.
4. Jos Buttler- 3912 - Not much to report except inactive and down to 4th.
5. Liam Dawson - 3887 - A disappointing Abu Dhabi T10 has merged into a similarly insipid start to the ILT20 for Dawson......however he keeps on turning out. No player has featured more in 2025.
Other Movers
In one of those weird quirks, just 45 runs sees Athapaththu move up 3 places; over-taking the inactive Jamie Smith and Heinrich Klaasen and joining fellow Sri Lankan Hasaranga on 2462.
Top 3 Averages
1. Sam Curran - 143.43 (Down from 147.1)
2. Ravindra Jadeja = 140.3 (Down from 141.11)
3. Annabel Sutherland - 138.4 (Up from 138.38)
For the second week in a row Athapaththu leaks the most points. She has now shaved 12.61 off her average over the last two weeks and currently has 129.63 per week.Liam Livingstone is up the most - +5.53 to 91.92.

"It has been said of the unseen army of the dead, on their everlasting march, that when they are passing a rural cricket ground the Englishman falls out of the ranks for a moment to look over the gate and smile."
