For the first time in the history of Test cricket, the tea break came BEFORE lunch!

Or maybe 500!

India deserve to lose for the sheer stupidity of the selections. I couldn't believe they picked Reddy again - he looks a million miles away from test quality and we basically play with 10 men when they select him. He's the third seamer and batting at number 8 - but in 140 overs he has only bowled 4 overs and that happens regularly - he bowls a few overs of ineffective seam bowling and then doesn't bowl for the rest of the innings! Meanwhile, Shami is wondering why he's not playing. Absolutely crazy - presumably Reddy has family connections at the highest level or something as I'm not sure what else could explain the selection

Also, why is Sarfraz Khan being frozen out - he's done well whereas Sai Sudarshan has struggled but we stick with Sai

You have to question why bumrah wasn't bowling at the start of the session...comes on and immediately makes things happen and gets wickets...Jansen now onto 82*

Sarfaraz was dropped after NZ series. There was also a news going around that he leaked dressign room secrets as well. Later Sarfaraz Khan was injured recently. Now after resuming cricket post injury, he is playing Ranji trophy for Mumbai this season and he has given the worst performances as batsman in Mumbai team this season.

SA scorecard reminding me of their great lower order batting of the 90s.

Some may feel that India can comeback but imo SA are favorites to win this test. I am so happy to see a team still batting even after 147 overs. This is what test match batting is about. Hope Indian batsmen to show quintessential qualities of test match batting.

Go on SA. Bat past 150 overs. Show all the teams how to bat for so long. A lesson in test match batting is much needed for everyone.
