England remain top of the leaderboard after 3 games.

I think 5 wins should guarantee a team a semi final place, 4 is a maybe. 3 won't do it without a very improbable combination of results. Pakistan next for England - who although they gave Australia a scare, England should win. Which would put them on 4 wins and a very strong NRR.

India with a steady though not particularly fast start against Australia...90/0 after 17 overs. Seems like a pretty decent platform : they might need a sizeable score given the Aussie batting strength.

128/0 now from 22. Indian fans still complaining about the slow scoring on line , though it strikes me as a pretty fair effort - and really should see them to a solid total. Guess they are anxious after failing to defend 250 against SA...

India projected score is 324 Australia will be happy to restrict them to that from here....Sutherland bending her back and steaming in but it looks such a flat wicket

Going to be a run-fest , this one. Even if India get 350 wouldn't put it past Australia to run it down.

Kaur is fired up and she is taking it out on the Aussie bowlers! Even the ever reliable molineux is going at nearly 9 an over!

Over 300 with six overs left so this is going to be a big chase for Australia...

India losing a couple of rather careless wickets in these last few overs - which might cost them as they are into the tail now at 321/7 , and may be unable to really make the remaining three overs count. For a while there they looked on for even 370 but 350 would be a good result from here...

All out ! Sutherland with five wickets :clap

India lost 6/36 and are likely to not even bat the 50. Reckon they're twenty at least short of what they ought to have made - and maybe short of what they need ? Australia bat very deep ; dew will hamper the bowling ... still a good score I guess but not impregnable.

And they get over the line by 3 wickets....this Australian side is scary the depth with both bat and ball is insane! As for India...2 defeats already not what they expected coming into the tournament

As I thought : India left 20 runs out there and it was what cost them. Lost two now so in a slightly precarious position. Think their bowling options seem limited and a bit of a tail so going to need everything they can get from home advantage when (if ?) they reach the semis.

Australia have so much depth it is frightening. But we have seen vulnerabilities already , even if opponents have been unable to sustain advantageous positions , so perhaps not totally impregnable ? Remain overall favourites for sure.
