the k ball experiment is up for discussion next month, with a number of county directors of cricket believed to want it scrapped

That won't the case with Durham's director of cricket, given that he likes to toady up to our CEO, who still wants an ECB job any way he can get one, and with no discussion with members will probably be instructed to vote to expand the K ball rounds to 6 (half of the CC matches that our CEO thinks should comprise a county championship season)

we'll see what happens at the vote. With a bit of luck this nonsense will form no part of next year's county championship. Just a pity the 100 won't be thrown in the same bin as the kookaburra (hopefully)
