Couldn't even squeeze out five overs a side.

I imagine Dawson and Salt were both thrilled to miss T20 finals day for the chance to sit on their @rses for a couple of days

Hardly noticed this was on. Not expecting massive interest , except maybe some Irish home support. I see Ireland manged a decent total ; but Salt and Buttler's opening stand meant the result was only ever going one way...

I see Rehan only bowled one over but batted at four so his role seems to be changing somewhat. Not sure we can take anything much from what happens in these games.

different format, of course, but Rehan has scored 5 hundreds in 10 matches for Leics this season. Doesn't always bowl though, despite taking 13 wickets in one match, so he seems to be converting himself into an upper middle order batsman who can take the ball when conditions suit. A bit like Borthwick when he turned himself into a pretty decent number 3, only better. The worry is that England don't always see beyond the pigeon hole they put a player in, and if they were to pick him for another test match, they'd probably pick him as a spinner and bat him at 10

he has averaged over 50 with the bat this season and the 13 wicket haul pulled his bowling average down to 19. Probably the main reason why Leics romped to promotion, and presumably the div 2 title, with a couple of matches in hand

He took a 5-for on his Test debut- from memory. It would be a shame if he sidelined his bowling.
