One hell of a shake up all over the shop this week as 2317 points are scored - the highest in 9 weeks.
Weekly Top 5
1. Phil Salt - 360 - No surprise that Salt is top of the pile courtesy of those two massively impressive scores against South Africa and Ireland. Who knows how many he would have got if Friday's game hadn't been rained off. Moves up a place overall to 7th.
2. Chamari Athapaththu - 301 - Has been a machine in the WCPL with both bat and ball, registering 504 points in the two-week competition. She finished the highest run scorer, the third highest wicket taker and moves up from 19th to 15th. Now the Women's World Cup.
3. Jos Buttler - 241 - Another cracking week for Jos Buttler with a further 111 runs. He now has the highest points for runs, Batting Bonus and Strike Rate.
4. Annabel Sutherland - 219 - Has taken the form she showed to lead Northern Superchargers to The Hundred title and has carried it through to international colours. 99 runs at a decent lick sees her 4th for the week and back into the Top Ten overall.
5. Nicholas Pooran - 215 - The leanest of lean weeks last week was dispelled by a profligate 135 runs across two CPL games for Trinbago. He is the third highest run scorer in the tournament and is also the second highest on our list with only Buttler ahead of him.
Overall Top 5
1. Sam Curran - 4148 - Suffering from a touch of the Liam Dawsons this week. Just as his international colleague, his incredible point scoring run has been rather broken by representing his country. He still has a 351 point command on second.
2. Jos Buttler - 3797 - Huge amounts of runs sees him open up a decent gap on second place. 224 separate him from bronze position.
3. Liam Dawson - 3573 - Only 70 points from the Englishman this week, however with over half a thousand points between himself and fourth he will have nothing to fear in the short term.
4. Nicholas Pooran - 2972 - A new inclusion in our Top 5 this week. Skips the indignity of fifth place and eases straight into fourth. With a maximum of two games of the CPL left he will want to make that 6 point gap on 5th a little more comfortable over coming days.
5. Nat Sciver-Brunt - 2966 - A month of inactivity sees her drop to fifth. Her latest concern is the superlative Phil Salt who is hitting form towards the end of 2025, just as he did last year. He is two places away from NSB but that is just 217 points.
Ones To Watch
Pathum Nissanka is in great form. Having already moved up two places this week, only 86 points separate him from 9th.
Other Movers
Nissanka moves up two places having fallen one point short of the weekly Top5.Hasaranga, Ayub and Zampa also score neagerly but manage to move up one place to 16th, 20th and 22nd respectively.
