As I said before, the cricket writers rave about Hogg, Minto and Killeen, so I imagine we do rate them, but perhaps not Robbo L or Stanley Mac. Might just be a case of spotting a talent who is maybe in the wrong place for his skill set to thrive and getting him in

I think so. If he has already caught McCullum's eye after just 5 games he must have something about him.

Mitch Killeen joining Essex! Didn't see that coming- we offered him a deal but he turned it down so presumably Essex made a better offer.
Stanley McAlindon is being released, that's much less surprising unfortunately.
Be interested to know what happened with Killeen, we seem able to splash the cash these days so it surely can't be Essex offering better terms.

Can only be a matter of time before the Aldridge one is made official.
According to The Cricketer Essex offered Killeen a 2 year deal, so presumably we didn't!

Essex might ask to take him on loan straight away. Seemingly paternity leave, injuries and overseas players finding better things to do has left them with a 12 man one day cup squad and it's Porter and Snater they want to try and protect

A great show of faith to give a 3 year deal to such a rookie, but that's probably because he had lots of options.
Has the potential to be an exciting signing.

Bailey coming in on loan for the rest of the One Day Cup and a keeper from the academy - Robbie Bowman- has signed a Rookie contract for the rest of the competition. Name is not familiar. Perhaps Robinson will have a rest when Lees returns. Mustard jnr injured.

Only issue might be Essex are 3rd bottom and 12 points above us so might not be advantageous to help them out.
