I confess that I'm very interested to see how tomorrow night's match goes

in theory it ought to be a cracker, but Germany don't look with it this year, so I'm expecting France to win. How comfortable a win might be up to them rather than Germany

I wasn't particularly going to watch tonight, because Spanish football bores me and although I gave up when the second went in, it had been a much better game than I was expecting, so I ended up watching more of the game than I intended

It will give them hope, but won't save them. It will be really hard to do something sensational when down to 10 for almost the whole game

They're having some joy down the right. I actually thought they should have had a penalty not long after when Cascarino (I think) went down

the daft thing is that the Germans are feeding off a sense of injustice. The crowd are in no small part helping to fuel that.... and yet they keep being given lifelines. Both of those decisions were highly marginal


making for a highly entertaining game though. This will all test France's somewhat questionable resolve. The German's will be getting tired, but these reprieves will help keep them going
