France will blow Germany out of the water. I'd have been happy for England to play Germany in the QF's had it not been for Spain in the semis

Not that it matters now that England have got past Sweden.... somehow

It does say something that this England team are into a third consecutive SF, with a real chance of making a 3rd consecutive final, despite having the slowest and least mobile defence in the history of the world.

A quick check reminds me that England have made at least the semis of every Euro and world cup since 2015. 6 consecutive SF's

Spain don't seem to be quite on it tonight. Switzerland showing everybody else what not sitting back and letting Spain play it their way looks like. The ref ignores all the Spain shirt pulling, but equally isn't much interested when Spain go down easy. I always get the feeling that if the Spanish players are chuntering at the ref, then the ref is probably doing a pretty decent job

Yeah the ref is stating strong and needs to. Having had two years of refereeing, it's easy to give one or two decisions to teams who keep moaning.

The Swiss hanging in there like Tyson Fury did in round 12 v Wilder. Ain't offering anything but staying just about horizontal....

Would love them to knick a goal, but reckon as they tire this could get dark for them.
