Yes, he has done exceptionally well and that was a fantastic partnership. Think it's a used pitch too so we have had a good day - looked a bit ominous shortly after lunch but 2 big partnerships.

given that pretty much half the overs were bowled by spinners, it's a bit of a mystery that play didn't end at 6pm

Excellent from Clark. Taking wickets looks like hard work - he was out to an outstanding catch.
Hopefully the pitch will deteriorate as the game progresses.

We didn't go chasing fast runs this morning. We only added 40 odd runs in the first 16 overs of the day, so perhaps the pitch isn't that easy to bat on either

the last 6 wickets went to spin, but this time we have spinners in the side.

First step is to avoid the curse of the old boy. I'll be really annoyed if he makes a big score against us after struggling like hell for the last few years
