That's a much better close of play score than it looked like being when we were 5 down. Real depth to that batting lineup with Potts at 11. Would be nice to get to 400 tomorrow but I think if you can avoid any disasters on the first day of the season it represents a good start - and we did.
Never know what's a good score these days but Notts must be the unhappier side after day 1.

I remember going to TB a number of years ago (it might have been 2011) and it was remarkable how much more the ball moved when it turned cloudy and how flat batting was when the sun shone. I'd heard about the cloud of course, but I wasn't quite ready for how much of a difference it made.... same as when I went to Lords, I wasn't quite prepared for how much of a slope the ground had, even though it was always talked about
