Not sure if its too late for Everton Weekes, and maybe too early for Kanhai.

Add in Walcott also for a trio of Windies legends

Walcott is right in 3

Too early for Hall and Griffith I think. Too late for Tyson.

I think it depends on the exact date in June the rankings a released. Benaud had a miserable record in away Ashes series, and famously bowled terribly in some games where Laker was tearing the Aussies a new one on the same pitches. If its the end of June and it includes 3 of the Ashes games, I doubt he makes it. Benaud did well in Asia I think, but they didn't play India till later.

Almost certainly one of the answers. The "Typhoon test" in 1955 will still affect the rankings. He surely has to be there. Had a famously stand out tour of Australia in 54-55....

For the last pick, I reckon Khan Mohammed could be there.

Pakistan's first few years as a test hosting nation, they didn't have proper pitches and threw down some matting to play on - which made it incredibly difficult for batsman to score. Mohammed wracked up some insane numbers in these first few series at home. Took a lot of wickets in the India v Pakistan series of 54-55.

Still arguably the most bizarre series of all time. Despite the fact neither team made a big score in 5 games, all 5 games were drawn and the series ended 0-0..... both sides were so paranoid of losing to the other, they blocked out mammoth amounts of overs just to not risk losing

I remembered Tyson in '55 but thought he was in and out of the side after that.

Johnny Wardle and Peter Loader are long shots. As is Jack Iverson.
