152 now. Australia seem to be crossing 160 :no

157 runs lead. 3 runs less. Small happiness

Excellent display of test match batting. After Usman flopped with the bat, Nathan and Marnus survived the tough phase and ensured the new ball was duly seen off till 36.1 overs. Travis came when Jasprit had almost finished his 3rd spell, other bowlers were not as fresh for obvious reasons and he attacked Harshit and Siraj and ended up scoring 140. The good work of Nathan and Nathan was well supported by Travis. These three batters have put Australia into a formidable match winning situation. Good to see a team survive for 87.3 overs when many test innings are ending between 34 to 60 overs nowadays.

Not a bad effort by the Indian bowlers. But their batters owe them a favour.

He's had 8 goes on the bouncier Australian and South African wickets now and failed 7 times with a big hundred in the other. Perhaps a vulnerability there.

Indian batting line up really seems to revolve around him. If he doesn't score 50+ they struggle.

He's almost too good to be getting fed to the new ball really.

2 days in at my count 155.4 overs of the 180 have been bowled

Will the ICC hand out any penalties i don't really know how it works?

They don't seem to care if England aren't playing

OK so i just read up a little. Slow over rate penalties only come in if a team bats for more than 80 overs.

So surely India will be docked points for the 2nd innings of this match. If they aren't then it truly is rigged to not give India penalties as the over rate has been funereal.

Both games 2 days in, 10 more overs bowled in the england/new Zealand game. Same amount of wickets taken.
