The idea of Nitish Reddy at 8 is to give a hint that the batting is very fragile, so much that specialist bowler can be dropped.

Washington Sundar is a good selection though. He was outstanding on the last tour to Australia.

Sarfaraz Khan is dropped after 6 tests. A failed Rahul is playing after 53 tests. Yes, Rahul is opener but the point is he should not have been in the squad.

Indian batsmen playing as expected. I am surprised KL Rahul has survived and has scored 20+. The 4th wicket may fall very soon.

47/4. Rahul scoring a 26 runs is a bonus. Any innings in which he scores over 15 runs in this series is a bonus for me.

Australian bowlers have reduced India to 128/8. They have not allowed Team India to score even a decent batting partnership; the best partnership being 48 between Rishabh and Nitish. Highest individual score of 37 posted by Rishabh. Total domination by Australia thus far, not letting even one batsman post a decent test score, neither allowing two batsmen to bat well in partnership. Absolutely top class bowling.

Session 2 (Ind 150 all out) yet again dominated totally by Australian pacers. Aus picked remaining 6 wickets for 99 runs.

Simply another outstanding bowling session by Australian pacers. Great show
