Hey, this game isn't over! That was day 1!

India's middle order can get close to NZ. They're ony 149 adrift.

I make the prediction of an India 1st innings lead

Yet another time that I am prepared to be wrong.

This series has just kept surprising.

I saw that India needed 140-odd to win, and then was in the veggie patch for some hours. I come back inside to see India are 6/92 at lunch - with Pant having scored more than 50 of those runs.

Is this going to be another embarrassing loss for India, or will Pant and the bowlers manage the 55 runs still needed? An interesting session in store.

Certainly Andy, , Gauti will be under tremendous pressure. No other Indiam coach had lost series in such way at home. India won't make the test finals this time after this loss I guess. Doubt if Gauti will be removed after this series. Likely to be 0-3 whitewash. Take nothing away from NZ who have comprehensively beaten India. It is not about losing, but the fight that you put even during loss is important. It was only a week or so back he was trying to be smart in an interview. In a way it is good that NZ have shown the reality checr to this bunch of Indian test batters by fully exposing their weakness. The aspects in which improvements are required are now we'll highlighted. Something which ranking had masked in last few years since World Test Championship started and India were in top 2. Brings the players down from moon to earth. Test cricket is not about whacking the ball like in T20i or ODI .

Congrats to NZ for whitewashing India 3-0. A 25 run win margin here is a 75 run margin on normal wickets. NZ have been extremely professional. Not surprised because I had already given hopes at stumps on Day 1.

As for India, the performance was horrible. India batted like T20i way and ended with T20i scores of 46, 110, 121, 156 and 174 tell the whole story. It is a shame this was called as test series, because Indian batsmen played it like T20i.All of Indian batters are well prepared for IPL, As they totally avoided all skills and qualities required to bat in tests. Bring on the IPL.

India couldn't bat 30 overs in a chase of under 150, in home conditions and with NZ's top spinner missing

Durham had Ajaz for a little while. He looked pretty good to me. 11 wickets for him in this match

There'll be some head scratching going on in the India camp

the most enjoyable series I have watched that did not have Australia playing - and in most other sports, I will support against New Zealand.

A great test series, and NZ thoroughly deserving winners.

Fantastic for test cricket this series and scoreline huge well done to NZ who were simply outstanding real issues for India and gambhir hard to see him surviving this even though he hasn't been in the job for long....and a few selection headaches too...Rohit and kohli won't have long left and have been declining....siraj hasn't been great...Ashwin didn't have his best series...questions for India...
