We have to beat Derbys and still need Worcs to screw up on Wednesday, though, and they face bottom of the table Lancs

I can't remember the last time we won 3 white ball games in a row. Still..... I'll have a wander down on Wednesday, because I'm not at work

Derby's only hope of qualification is to give us a right old pasting and hope that Worcs screw up

I think we will qualify with a win. Think the top 3 in each group qualify with the first placed team going straight to the semif final.
Looks as if the QF'S are played on Friday and the SF's on Sunday!

I don't think there used to be QF's because I also assumed a top 2 finish was required but this year it seems to be the top 3 for some reason.

I've just watched the highlights and 2 things struck me

firstly, the picture and sound quality of the Kent feed was dreadful compared to ours now (Bostock mentioned the investment in this) and yet I'm sure Kent were one of the first to monetise the feed

secondly, there's been an awful lot of building work at the St Lawrence ground, since I went there. It has been 16 years, of course, since that day when we won the championship for the first time. Golly.... I was still in my 40's when I went
I think (with no certainty) that a lot of it is behind where the old tree used to be and which was a car park. I do remember talk, a number of years ago, that Kent were selling off some of their land. Looks posh.
