Bit like the Melbourne Ashes Test of 2010 ...pretty much perfect for England. Opposition have a bit of a question mark on them though.

Atkinson was quite impressive. He will find it a little harder to take 7 wickets against better bats , of course ; but he showed lively pace , and commendable accuracy as well as few signs of nerves. I wasn't convinced about his selection in advance but he's gone a long way towards winning me over ...

Fielding was excellent. Good start to the Test Series

Its pretty academic, isnt it? Id imagine Roach would have played had he not been unfit.

Seems a trend in Windies cricket in the last decade or so. Seem to have a lot of spray and pray type quick bowlers who can bowl at a really decent nip, but have zero control. Always looking for the magic ball types of bowlers...
