Kane Williamson has to be in there. Not sure Stokes gets in tbh. His days are imo numbered. Will get a few runs now and again but he's not in any world test XI

Yeah I did think Kane, probably should be instead of Head, but the guys batting 3 and 4 in my side aren't changing, so I tried to put a guy in who will bat middle order...and Stokes selection was partly captaincy and partly at 6 and 7 you want game changers and when he gets going there aren;t many better around than him at doing that

Interesting thread. I've not considered this for a while. Used to be a standby during insomnia. And with less Test cricket played, the idea of an elite feels more fluid. Though there's nothing fluid about the Aussie bowling attack.

Don't think I'm having Root and Stokes. But I'll post a team later when my headache has gone.

No Jadeja?

No Jadeja because shouldn't need a 'frontline' 5th bowler in a world XI....Lyon by far and away the standout test spinner

do you not need three test XI's, depending on whether they are playing in England, Australia or India?

Makes a huge difference, I think
2025 County Championship D1 FL, County Championship D2 FL, Football Prediction League
2024 County Championship D1 FL, Indian Premier League FL , Big Bash League FL
2023 County Championship D1 FL, WI-SA combined FL, Big Bash League FL
2022 County Championship D1 FL, T20 Blast FL , Ashes FL
2021 All Year Fantasy Competition, ICC T20 World Cup FL, Big Bash League FL
2020 SA-England combined FL, Caribbean Premier League FL
2019 NZ-England test FL, WI-India combined FL, The Open Golf FL, French Open Tennis FL, Sheffield Shield FL,
Players Championship Golf FL, Women's National Cricket League FL, Women's Big Bash League FL
2018 All Year Fantasy Competition
2017 The Open Golf FL
2016 Australia-South Africa test FL, County Championship D1 FL, Indian Premier League FL
2015 County Fantasy Manager, Big Bash League FL
2014 WI-England test and ODI FL, County Championship D2 FL
2013 County Championship D2 FL
