Although India winning all their games except the last is a good plot twist.

I think it was damned decent of SA to stretch a rope across the track, 1m from the winning post.... just to help Australia fall over the line

India will fear nothing

Still...... England would have got themselves out 30 runs short of that derisory total, so well done to Australia

To be fair, he's been there at the end twice and done the necessary, even if it was ugly.

One of the more interesting matches in this WC...as a matter of fact , Australia have been involved in several of the better contests so probably a good thing they have made it to the final - hopefully to provide another.

Not sure they will : deserve a lot of praise for recovering from a poor start to clearly earn a spot now as the side with the second best record across the whole thing ; but I think India have the stronger side , with fewer potential weak spots ; and as long as they play to their usual capacity I reckon they will win.

But anything can happen on a day so no guarantees...

I fully agree Alfie. If both teams play at their best, India will win.

Aus have had some good wins, but it will take some very good play and some luck if they are going to win this.

At least I have Monday off, so I can sleep during the day. I struggled on Thursday after the semi final.

So then, another WC final is almost upon us. TBH, this is India's to lose. They have been far and away, the standout team of the tournament. If Glenn Maxwell turns up, however, anything can happen. After his effort against Afghanistan, which was the greatest ODI innings of all time, anything can happen. Given the problems South Africa's spinners caused us, I'm expecting more of the same from India.

Bring it on! :box

Doesn't seem to be a lot of news around. If it was England in the final there would at least be a key player in the oxygen tent and rumours the bowlers won't talk to the batters..
