And useful centre wicket practice for Root. But while I appreciate the point raised earlier about leaving some cricket for those who have bought tickets , I'm not sure having Pope go for Lara's record etc is in the best interests of Test Cricket...
Lord knows what this England side will do. But given Stokes' generally attacking attitude I reckon we will see a declaration in the not too far distant future. Maybe let the Nighthawk have a go if a wicket falls
