Wolves must be safe now, and Brentford one win away from safety. Southampton and Forest seem destined for the drop (my father-in-law will be devastated, lifelong Forest supporter).

I only know this because someone proved me wrong on it recently; but no club still in existence in the football pyramid of England has avoided relegation throughout its history. Its a universally accepted myth that certain clubs havent. Arsenal were relegated pre-WWI. Everton and Liverpool hit hard times in the 50s. Chelsea spent a lot of years in Division 2 in the 70-80s. Cant remember when Spurs went down, but they did.
The one I did know was United, in 1974, with Tom Doherty in charge. Relegated a wonder team, and didnt even get sacked..... in fact, it was losing to City that relegated Man United that year, although Man United fans always argue with 3 pages of results, timings and loads of maths, why it was another goal in a game at Norwich that did it....
