as we approach the inevitable 100 run 9th wicket partnership, is it worth questioning why we took so long to bring our two best bowlers on? I get that we might have been trying to keep them fresh for a follow on, but the way these two are going we might not even be able to enforce a follow on, which felt very unlikely after the first hour today

we're having to bowl them now, so they might not be available for the new ball let alone the follow on

any faint hopes of a charge to the winning line has evaporated entirely and I still don't know why Kuhnemann isn't bowling, so I can only fear the worst

I think he has a stiff back - hopefully nothing serious and just a case of not risking him.

well, we got them in the end after a 110 run partnership

however... we have enforced the follow on and we have 3 early wickets including the beast and Northeast

but then we did that yesterday and we know what happened next, so I'm not hopeful... not yet, at any rate
