Maybe a few England fans there to sell tickets to. Maybe a three day Test would be more of a missed opportunity for WI than usual.

Leach just getting a little from the pitch to pose some danger.... nothing for the pacers apparent from keeping making the batters play and hoping for an error, which Fisher is doing well.

Just as I say that, Fisher gets the edge, but it lands inches in front of Crawley's hand.

Been good bowling from the new lad. Keeping the pressure on

Short, wide... Brooks somehow manages to spoon a cut shot straight up in the air, and England have a breakthrough...

Its the worst ball bowled all morning, that's terrible batting. But England have done a good job this morning, and they get a reward.

Think Windies need to be more positive here. Leach especially has got the pressure on and is floating it up quite full. Windies have to try to knock him off his perch a little, because atm he looks capable of riding through a few

An umpire once again not understanding how ultra-edge works, and giving the wrong decision contrary to unequivocal evidence in the counter. The technology just proved Bonner hit it, and the umpire responds by giving it out lbw because he has zero understanding of it. Which seems to happen every single time ultra-edge has the ball anywhere near the pad and bat at the same time. Either train the umpires to use it properly, or stop using it.

There are two sounds and the edge is infront of the pad... the two sounds have different envelopes and different frequencies.... unless the third umpire thinks that sound waves reach peak attack frequencies after sustain/decay/release occurs, which if he did would make him a moron, then there is zero possibility of the ball not having hit the bat before the pad.

If the umpire cant get that right, he should not be working at this level, period. A terrible decision.

I see even Aggers thought it was iffy, so I guess if he's questioning an English wicket then we must know if 100% dodgy

That horrendous decision aside, its been a great bowling effort so far. England's bowlers giving nothing away in the terms of free runs, and thats forcing errors. And while the pitch continues to have nothing in it for the seamers, just some hints of turn for Leach.

England opening the door on a result. Windies need a few to stick around, either for a long time or for some runs.

Only real negative has been a few questionable calls from Root. Bringing off Leach as he looked dangerous, then moving him to the end both spinners got nothing out of in the last two days.

WI still a long way behind but it does feel in this series that whenever they've looked like they might collapse, they've found a pertnership to bat time, even if not to make so many runs.

I think it's the type of pitch that requires sustained bowling effort to hope to compete. England bowled excellently this morning, but in a back to back test and a softening ball, it's tough to stay that focused in the face of nothing.

Have to just keep the leash on windies and hope the 10-15 overs of the new ball makes inroads.

He didnt look at all assured throughout either. Played against the spin a lot, which is usually a death sentence....

What has Kyle Mayer's done to be dropped? I'd have thought in average and recent performance, he'd be a guaranteed spot....can bowl too. No sense to me unless he's injured and they haven't said, but the reports did say brooks was favoured
