West Indies going strong. So much for Stokes not bowling. Who'd have thought we might not have control or a cutting edge?

Still, England get to bowl last, and a late wicket or two and they'll probably be happy enough.

Nine consecutive maidens is a good effort for Flat Jack, who was unable to keep the runs down in the Ashes. No breakthrough though.

Probably evens at the moment : but if West Indies get up around the England score that third innings might be under a bit of pressure . Wouldn't be the first time England had a disastrous second knock in these parts... So I hope the openers are on better form this time around.

Of course the West Indies tail looks lengthy ; an early wicket today and a new ball not to far away could yet trim this innings short. This could be the crucial day.

I didn't watch all the innings (rough time zone !) but wasn't over impressed with the England bowling that I saw. I suppose they were not anticipating the injury loss of Robinson (though they probably should have been after watching the Ashes Series !) when deciding to tour without their two premier bowlers : but Woakes and Overton as an opening pair just doesn't seem very promising for overseas Test Matches...

At least Leach provided some control , it seems.

Typical looking WI scorecard. They need someone to go on.

Six hour 77* for Bonner. Proper Test match batting.

It'll take him nearly two more hours for a hundred at that rate.

Hope he gets there.

I see Crawley missed him shortly after the two wickets fell.

Didn't he miss a few in Australia.
