Might be a batting spot available for the next game. I wasn't here this morning but apparently Dickson was batting with a runner.

Wonder how much appetite Glamorgan will have to bat for 7 sessions?

I don't want to tempt fate but suspect they won't have much of an appetite!

Apparently our first innings set a Championship record- 81 from Jones was the lowest top score in a team total of 500 plus.

A few lucky escapes with edges flying through the slips- and an lbw appeal that looked out to me - but Glamorgan were more obdurate than I expected. I'd imagine a couple of early wickets in the morning could lead to an early finish but if they get stuck in again it might take a while to get them all out.

Rutherford and Carlson should be the 2 key wickets so I'll be surprised if it isn't wrapped up before tea. Although I have been wrong before!

Glamorgan showing admirable resistance so the new ball might be required. Some dropped chances that won't matter in this game but needs to be worked on because there will be situations when the drops are very costly.

Impressive total. Lowest score 20 :o

Coughlin 7-39 off 20 overs  where on earth did that come from?

He has done well, such a frustrating player because he looks great at times but inconsistent.
81 from Jones is the lowest top score in a team total of 500+. I think we'd have got 600 if we wanted.

I think they did but only for international cricket.

Well they have made it to tea after all! There was enough happening with the new ball to suggest a breakthrough is imminent but conditions look good for batting so maybe this won't be the final day. Highly unlikely we'll be back but you never know.
