Interesting position for Glam with ten overs to go. Keep taking wickets and Durham could be chasing 230. A good ten for Glamorgan gives them 300.

According to Gough 300 plus is par but given the pressure of a final run chase I'm not so sure. Borthwick went off after getting hit on the hand but he's back now.

I may have misheard but think one of the commentators said that in 2019 the average 50 over score on the ground was 350. Sounds very high so I may have heard it incorrectly- they all seem convinced 300 wouldn't be above par.

Luckily I've been out! A dire position and quite a surprise given we were strong favourites. Glamorgan too good today though - still time for a late twist and there is depth to the batting but 10 rpo is almost certainly too stiff a test.

Yes, looks unlikely. Durham still letting the RRR get bigger too.

As I feared

I saw the score earlier this afternoon and saw that Glammy were 100-2. I figured then that we would lose. The problem with day/nighters is that the team batting first wins 9 times out of 10 and so the only chance we had batting second was to take plenty of early scalps.... which we didn't do

Pity really, because I rather fancied us to win this trophy

never mind... it has been a morale boosting comp for us after the debacle of the T20

I'm genuinely shocked

imagine winning the toss and choosing to bowl in batsmen friendly conditions and then bat in conditions heavily skewed towards bowlers :hmmm

Beaten fairly and squarely by the better team, and beaten long before natural light faded.
Glamorgan captain said he'd have bowled.
It's been a thoroughly enjoyable tournament.

I think it's also because he likes to chase - think he has won most tosses and bowled. I'd have batted here though - batting has been ( or had been!) firing and the pressure of runs on the board with a strengthened bowling attack would have been handy.
Looking at the wickets on replay and it's mainly daft shots from the top order. no need for them when the target was 6 an over.
That said, the death bowling was poor again - they got 30 or so more than they should have.
