Excellent performance, the extra pace in the attack makes all the difference when things look a bit flat.
We do look like a more than decent side, that was a dominating performance from the start- no alarms at all. Most unusual!
Could do with Worcestershire holding Essex to a draw.

Forecast for tomorrow looks pretty good , 15 wickets in a day seems a tall order but...it's Essex.

irritatingly it's that single solitary bowling point that they never looked like getting until we threw a couple of wickets away in the murk, that's keeping Warks on top of the table

My grandson played against one of the young Benks boys, down near the racehorse ground years ago. I know it was a Benks boy, because the great man himself came down to watch. My grandson is 23 now, so I'm guessing it was an older brother
