Trevaskis is probably our token spinner that we leave out of the XI every game. Salisbury can feel a little unlucky to be left out, I think. He's bowled pretty well up to now imo

Might be just an opportunity to give him a rest, games coming thick and fast so there'll probably need to be some rotation.

Toss at 11.40 and play due to start at noon. Although the weather looks set to remain unpredictable- keeps alternating between sun and rain just outside of Chester-le-Street.

We won the toss and are bowling. Wood & Carse in for Coughlin and Salisbury.

22/4 at lunch. This attack should be more than capable of preventing the usual recovery but time will tell.

Despair! Warks have added 20 for the ninth wicket.

If the last 2 wickets go reasonably quickly it wouldn't surprise me if Warwickshire are batting again before the close! I remember when Aidan Markram marked his debut with a pair on day one ( think it was against Kent) and the 3rd innings of the game started on day 1.

No chance. We've got Poytner to shore up the batting :hide

Durham 47-0

Warks 30-8.

Don't think you'll lose! This is more one sided than the 2010 Boxing Day Test.
