Yes, Martin Emmerson says it was his 500th in Championship matches if you count last year. I'm with you, the wickets last year should count.

Probably will get a triple hundred!
Those 2 late wickets were ideal, even if one was a night watchman. This will probably jinx it but I think we should win it but expect it'll be hard work. Although from the little bits of streaming I saw there seemed to be a little bit in the pitch every now and then. It surely won't get any better so I'm quietly confident unless the wheels come off...no chance surely

Well played Bedingham and Rushy. It's probably nonsense, but it feels like we've already passed our total of first class centuries from last season. Brilliant to see us making "proper" scores - now we just need to turn them into wins.

More important perhaps is he currently has 522,including today's 4, 1st class wickets 5 short of Onions 527. Could well beat the record this game.

Coughlin in the middle of an excellent spell...but has hurt his left hand after getting hit by the ball after an awkward bounce when it was thrown by a fielder! He's getting it taped so must be ok.

He was unlucky to just get 1 wicket. Had both batsmen in trouble. So frustrating that he can bowl great spells but then other times looks totally innocuous.
Could do with at least 2 more wickets before lunch but these two seemed quite comfortable against the other seamers.

I was hoping to come in and find that we'd bowled them out, but I had a feeling that we'd actually be suffering from lowerorderitis

2 wickets is less than ideal. We need to knock them off quickly or this match will have draw written all over it (or worse like last week, but we won't mention that)

after watching the 2 batsmen in no trouble at all since lunch, Salisbury's 3rd delivery with the new ball rips Hudson-Prentice's off stump out and sends it cartwheeling
