I try to make my final contribution to the matches thread that wonderful lament to the cricket season by Sir Neville Cardus which concludes-
"There can be no summer in this land without cricket".
Well, thanks to FTECB the corollary now applies
" there can be no (proper) cricket in this land in summer"
