Very strange card with Derbyshire 300 plus. Must have turned to him as a last resort and lost wickets trying to accelerate.

Onions not playing for Lancashire against Notts. With a bit of luck it means he won't be playing against Durham on Sunday - if he does it's almost guaranteed to have disastrous consequences for us. 150 for Jennings must be on the cards.

And Barker 0-82 off 10,and he's only played 1 CC game. Get him signed for Durham pdq whilst he's out of favour :facepalm

Now there's an idea! We could swap him for Rimmington.

For Yorks, ZBGB is out for a while with personal problems. Patto is skipper and Benco returns. Hodd is back as Bairstow and Root make way from the trouncing at the Oval. These are the 13 players who will go another year without lifting the 50 over trophy. Nice to get Rashid and Azeem back though.

Tim Bresnan
Harry Brook
Ben Coad
Andrew Hodd (WK)
Tom Kohler-Cadmore
Jack Leaning
Adam Lyth
Steven Patterson ©
Cheteshwar Pujara
Azeem Rafiq
Adil Rashid
Josh Shaw
James Wainman

Yorkshire's batting probably looks better than what it is on paper, Pujara might just click and I reckon Brook will have a good campaign. Bresnan, Hodd, Rashid and Rafiq between 6 and 9 looks solid.

Bowling attack looks weak, not convinced with Coad as his pace is hit me for the white ball game. Would prefer to play Wainman on the basis he bowls left handed. Willey and Plunkett coming in towards the 2nd half could be a psychological boost and Matt Fisher whenever he is fit.

"They took all our players away, banned our captain and we still came away with a ten-wicket victory" Jason Gillespie
"You won't get anywhere slouching about half out of bed" Geoffrey Boycott

The Yorkshire batting might enjoy the Durham attack on Friday! Rushworth injured and the rest of them do not inspire confidence.

Unexpectedly good start for Yorks with the bat. 60-0 off 10.

Very weak batting line up though.
