You would think so, unless the rain comes earlier than currently planned (forecast is currently for rain between 6pm to 2am).

I think our best chance is if the pitch settles down, Warwickshire bat for most of the day. The rain then arrives, there's a wet outfield delaying the start tomorrow. The sun comes out and we have 70 overs or so to survive in the sunshine.

Very much so, which is why it is nice to see the ball doing a lot less than it was yesterday. Albeit Abbott I think is still affected by the injury, as he doesn't look right.

The really interesting thing is how long Somerset bat for. Rain is scheduled at Taunton from 2pm through to 10pm. Nothing tomorrow.

Yes we do have a few escape routes, and Somerset not winning is still a possibility.

Somerset losing a few wickets, but I think it's because they're trying to accelerate (no doubt with the rain in mind) rather than the pitch.

Wickets tumbling again at Edgbaston, doesn't bode well.

Regardless of wether we stay up or not Heads should roll for the end of season F*ck up.
if for the complacency of the 11 selected up at Uxbridge alone

we went into september with faint hopes of still winning the title by the end of month we are favourites to go down , you really couldn't make it up.

sad as it is we probably need to see the back of Giles White , we have got very stale over the last couple of seasons.
i don't think it would be fair to get rid of Craig W after just a season , he is still sorting out the chaos of Benkinstein.

Very negative way of looking at a Warks collapse Budget! Might be Hants are fighting back and giving themselves a chance of staying up (which has been looking a bit dodgy, even to a neutral). Warks have a terrible batting line up, so this isn't definitely a sign the pitch is unplayable.

I've had every thought about Hants cricket over the last week, negative, positive, indifferent, to the extent that my mindset an hour ago was for Warwickshire to bat out the day taking time out the game and indicating batting conditions may have improved.

Then the wickets start tumbling and I have to reassess. I'm all over the place, but it will be a minor miracle if we chase down whatever Wawrickshire set us now.
