Maybe the umpires have got wind of their early shockers or there was an inside edge into pad.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

Let's face it we do deserve to go down, 2015 was a minor miracle, 2016 was unprecedented, and in 2017 our second half of the CC has been relegation standard.

Can't really expect Berg and Abbott to keep posting scores down the order.

That's the first LBW that I can't call. Might have hit Berg just outside, difficult to tell. Can't say one way or the other whether I think the umpire has made the right call there.

Finally we get one in our favour. Because that was plumb on Abbott, in my view.

I don't understand how there are 5 lbws in our innings and none in theirs?

Fidel was bowling for the edge, not the stumps.

Berg and Holland simply were both just dobbing the ball up there, with little movement. Sibley was blocking his way through his innings.

Losing Abbott killed us.

Bailey out, D2 we most certainly come.

Why is it that we can't produce anyone out of the Academy/second team. Who is running these set ups?

You frequently hear bright young pups coming through from other counties, we're pretty much limited to James Vince in ten bloody years.

Hopeless.

If Century Club was still around he'd be going ballistic, slightly irrationally ballistic at times, but often valid.

But none whilst Berg and Holland were bowling. Or Fidel during this second spell. (He clearly changed his line to attack the stumps once the tail enders came out)

Umpires taking the biscuit now. First they let Abbott off of an LBW, now they let Crane off. Thanks, fat lot of use it is to us not giving those guys out.

I'm sure there were some close lbw shouts, but anyway I'm clutching at straws, we're shite and we know we are.

Somerset 159/3 in their second innings puts any thoughts of a points deduction to bed.

James Vince back in the test fold, perhaps he can celebrate it with a relegation saving innings.
