Amusing comment on Twitter that we are 90/13 off the last 37 overs.

Maybe the rain scheduled for throughout Wednesday night might soak the outfield again, leading to no play on Thursday.

Although at this rate, the game could be over by close of play tomorrow.

Thursday looks dry and sunny so I'm sure the wet outfield will be gone in time to see us lose.

Lords will probably send up some super soppers by special courier.

I can't actually recall when he last batted at number 3. I think he had a spell there in the mid 2000s, immediately post Crawley.

Maybe he was too comfortable down the order.

Batting at three can concentrate the mind.

I was worried then because Cricinfo initially had it as bowled, so I was thinking Dawson had got a first baller.

What's happening with Ervine, is he due to retire soon? I guess he'll be good enough for another season if we go down.

3 lbws out of the 4 wickets is very harsh when they gave us none and turned down a few close calls by the sounds of it.

Somebody from HQ has been on the blower with things going pear shaped for Middx at Taunton.

The current RR would take us to 375 after 110, so comfortably beyond the 350 that we need.

However, I've got this little niggling feeling that we might just be bowled out before then.

Shocking shot from Dawson. First time we've properly given a wicket away.

We're the number of wickets down I thought we'd be at the close.

Dawson is in the form he was in when he went out on loan a few years back.

Well that cancels out one of the LBWs, because I've got no idea how Bailey was neither bowled, stumped nor caught there. Got 4 for it!

And secures a quick fire fifty when all around him fall by the wayside.
