Not sure if De Boer will still be in charge then though. If we can somehow find a way to score next weekend and beat them, they then pay Man City (a), Man Utd (a) and Chelsea (h) in consecutive games, before facing you.

I don't think any manager survives losing eight consecutive games at the start of a season.

But I doubt we will beat them.

Worth noting Burnley scored early and went into their shell behind the ball. Maybe in other games they dont have that time on the ball

Seen them twice now this season, and they look good enough to stay up at the moment. Lack a bit of creativity maybe, couple of chances missed vs Huddersfield lost them points in a game they were better team in, but still, Rafa has them well organised and tougher to break down than other teams you've had.

so much for our great start - level with City now and only 1 point clear of Chelsea - can't afford too many more draws like this, that's what cost us last season

You should comfortably win tonight, the only thing that may stop you is the lack of confidence from the opening games and your blooming Olympic stadium.

It's what will stop Spurs being in the top 2 again this season.

I hope you win because it's more likely Huddersfield will be fighting to avoid the drop coming towards the end of the season than you guys.

Sorry Yuppie, just seen your post.

He didn't play very often for us, mostly cup games. I thought he was a decent keeper when he was at Reading but didn't think he did that great for us.

Championship is his level I think.

Didn't last long, injured on international duty!

Sounds like a nice gesture to rescind his contract and take back his wage bill. Perhaps we're trying towin back a bit of goodwill if we get relegated!
