Even when the wickets were tumbling towards the end they were still keeping the scoreboard ticking nicely.

If Derbyshire win from here, then it's hats off to them.

Cork a bit torn, but clearly wants Derbyshire to win.

Must be annoying for him. No doubt he'd have wanted Derby to play anyone but us - and vice-versa.

Fair enough that he is siding with them.

Even if Derby are 70-0 off 4, they'd be no huge reason to panic. Nothants started like a train against Yorkshire last week, and got nowhere close.

They've gone for the opposite approach, 8/2!

Done and dusted. A great T20 season for Derbys snuffed out like a 3 for a £1 zippo in a hurricane.

Yep, we've been massively inconsistent in the group stages, and Derbyshire with a home draw, winning the toss, and hoping to make their first finals day ever, have been totally trounced. It's a strange game this cricket lark.

Mind you 7 out of the last 8 finals day does say a bit about our pedigree.

I hate Afridi

I genuinely hate him

I hate it whenever he scores runs or takes wickets

I'm always delighted whenever he gets caned or gets a first baller

I hate him so much that I'll leave it to Andrew Strauss to sum up what I think of him

Well, turns out it was a pretty inspired decision to open up with Afridi given he's done nothing with the bat this season. Massive win, but Derbyshire were never in it.

A toss they always called badly wrong.

If they'd made that 148 batting first, I'd have been concerned.

the interesting thing about a zippo lighter is that it doesn't blow out in the wind

George Bailey's just been named in a world xi squad for a tour of Pakistan that clashes with our end of season county championship fixtures?

3 T20 games scheduled for 12th, 13th and 15th Sept.
Colly has also been selected but Durham do'nt have a game that week. Tour fee £75k!
