So we have a County who were heading for bankruptcy before being propped up by FTECB chairman's millions luring players whom another county has spent time and money on his development. A player when out of contract is free to go where he likes but surely substantial compensation should be paid to the club which has developed him.

I agree, there has to be a compensation system brought in.

Just announced that his Worcestershire contract has been terminated with immediate effect. He must be joining Yorkshire immediately?

Tom Kohler-Cadmore joining Yorkshire on a 3 year contract with immediate effect

Unable to play against Worcestershire this year as part of the clause, though whether he is available to play in the RL One Day Quarter Final against Surrey is another matter.

All this mess over this player...mediocre record, had a couple of decent games but nothing special, and won't get in the yorkshire side...should have stayed where he was..

Big collapse for Yorks at Somerset. Batting fails again.

178-9 now is a perfectly acceptable score at Taunton these days.

Forget about the batting, it's only having Rafiq that should be your biggest issue. Looks like you've gone four seamers at Taunton, which seems a rather odd strategy.

I stand corrected.

If he's even half decent, there's every chance that you'll win that.
