I've been saying this for about 3 years. The penny will drop eventually........ although he is quite clever about it, I suppose...... by producing something utterly remarkable once in every tournament, he has perpetuated the myth that he's a player worth spending the big bucks on, when the reality is that he's mostly just a waste of space.
I think he flopped in this years PSL as well with many low scores, but managed to scored 1 ton iirc. Even players like Sanju Samson, Rishabh Pant, Nitish Rana, Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya are outscoring him in spite of some of them batting in middle order and most of them are not specialist batters as such, rather wicket keeping batters or all rounder.
RCB squad selection has been worse. They have just concentrated on batting. No wonder they have never won any IPL yet.
