Zampa getting smoked as well now.
not really sure why pune didn't bowl Tahir and Zampa in tandem in the middle but then again they have no death bowlers so had no choice but to keep 3 overs spare for the death between them.

the way the teams are looking.
IPL group stage might be *modded*, considering Gujarat, pune look awful, RCB might struggle as well and DD struggling with the bat as well.
pretty easy to call the top 4 now.

RCB could come back but they need Kohli and AB fit. The other 3 teams look finished.

will need something special from Stokes with the bat considering on this ground chasing 200 won't be easy considering pune looks like a bigger indian ground.
not a postage stamp like Wankhede or some of the other stadiums.
although these days batsman clear 90M so easily that any stadiums are small.

way too early to be writing teams off

look at Mumbai in 2015, lost something like 5 of their first 6 games and still won it

Agarwal opening so not much in one of the openers either.
batting only really Rahane, Faf and stokes and that is it.

Mumbai had a talented squad, they just underperformed early on. Teams like Delhi, Pune, Gujarat, RCB just have too many poor players.

RCB could have done it but injuries are going to cost them.
not much depth and doesn't help Gayle and Watson are liabilities now.

Samson played exceptionally well, and finally hopefully the long awaited breakthrough for him! incredible that Tahir only went for 24, yet no one else went at under 10 an over!
