Wonder what happens if Tahir said no to pune wanting him before the season started.

the point was if he was so crucial to their plans then why did they let him go unsold

you dont pick someone up as an afterthought and then have him in your first choice XI

but then again seeing how terrible the squad balance is in some of the franchises planning ahead doesn't seem a strong point

TBH pune couldn't really buy him anyway didn't have the money only had 30 lakh left in the kitty, the other teams couldn't buy Tahir because they already had 9 overseas slots used and probably didn't need a spinner anyway since either the indian spinners are good or don't need a World class leggie.
Saying that Gujarat could have brought him and they been one of the stupidest franchise in this competition awful auction and awful start to the season with team balancing.
lol gujarat still had 10 crore left in the kitty and one slot for overseas available.

Surprised he isn't the main seam bowler for pune, being played as a batsman in the team.
personally would use Rajat bhatia and stokes as the main 5 bowlers and play the extra batsman or play Baba Aparjith as an batting all rounder.
Not sure it is wise to have Dinda in the team.
