Yeah majority of the indian test players are missing the early part of the IPL.
only Rahane is playing the games from the start.
Yadav out for 2 weeks.

Jadeja out for 2 weeks.

it seems like india are quietly preparing for the champions trophy, kohli mentioned it earlier as well that he won't play unless he is 120% fit for RCB.

BCCI are supposedly paying the wages so the players don't lose out if they miss games.

Woakes is a very likely starter.
looks like it would be Lynn, Woakes, Boult and Narine as the overseas players for Kolkata.
very strong team KKR got, Woakes would have to be in form though to play all the games for Kolkata, but his batting should see him edge out the likes of Boult and the other players for the overseas slot.
