for me get 250 and then declare.
Wickets don't matter since India won anyway even if a crazy collapse happens.
They just need to bat to destroy England confidence

Bhavesh bhai, apdich match che.

England only chance is if ashwin and jadeja get injured and cook and root do a dravid and lawman.

First test , Cook made their batters bat for us and saved us the match by making our batters bat less time. Hope Virat does not makes our batters bat for them this time.

I am unable to control my happiness regarding this win, jumping up and down already as if we have already won. Better to celebrate victories until overseas tests series begin :D

Yes, Hope. Good that overseas are not happening soon because few of our openers are injured and one is out of form. They are getting hurt on thumb by England pacers even on our low bounce wickets :no Middle order exposed to new ball will be a huge challenge. Don't know how they will manage on bouncy wickets.

TBH England played better than I expected certainly better than nz and Australia so should get credit for that, think if they picked the squad better could have given India a run in this series.
To be fair Anderson and broad bowled well with the new ball been using cutters well and pretty hard stuff facing short ball cutters especially with the new ball.

No doubt England are better than Aus and NZ when they toured here.

Firstly, Cook has learned lot from last tour of India which he won for them. Now he picking 3 spinners. He is also opting to bat first. Basics are well understood by him now. Aus and NZ not willing to respect conditions by picking team for conditions like Cook is doing. Having said that in spite of doing the basic of team combo correct unlike others, Cook is not having confidence in 3 spinners on day 4 and 5 to bowl out teams in match winning total. He wants cushion of extra runs which cost him. I think he will learn that as well how much score is enough in India for second innings.

One thing that this England spin attack needs is a spinner who can bowl 35 overs in innings with a low rpo. Also they need to flight the ball well rather than bowling just flatter trajectory.

I would not be surprised if England have more and better spin bowling options than Aus, NZ and SA in coming years. England is picking 2 or 3 spinners which means more experience to spinners against good batters of spin. England spinners are bowling more overs in test matches than Aus, NZ or SA spin bowlers. The change of approach towards spin bowling at least on subcontinent tours will prepare them with tested options, more variety and better experience unlike some other teams. The benefits would not be seen immediately but certainly they will get more out of their spinners as compared to other non Asian teams.

Kiwis drew in UAE with three spinners. That was a template that England are following. They brought Vettori back from retirement in the Test they won, just to bowl maidens. NZ managed to get good use of average spinners.

Unfortunately, in India they had the same problem the England bowlers are having in Visak- no runs on the board.

hmmm england spinners, always an intresting topic...

Rashid improving more and more, and Cook seems to have a lot more faith in him, has bowled well so far in this series, and look more confident....Moeen is a funny one..if he scores runs then he bowls well, but still capable of bowling utter tripe, and as time goes on, can see him being the batsman who bowls, and bowls less and less...Ansari offers no confidence at all...dosen't turn the ball, isn't threatning, and to be honest, looks out of his depth with bat and ball..

One specialist spinner should be there when you are playing 3 spinners. No worries even if he has batting average below 10.

Ansari not had a bowl yet in this innings. Which might mean something.
