I think they'll bat to 450 lead then declare between lunch and tea. Expect Kohli knows they've won, just they may want to grind England into the dust.

i think they'll know how difficult it is to score at anything close to 3 runs per over on this pitch without taking enormous risks and they wont be worried in the slightest setting england 400 in 5 sessions

in fact if they declare at lunchtime tomorrow i wouldn't be surprised if it didn't even reach day 5

Yes. England could set a target of seeing out the day and battle to achieve that.

You only really need to look at boycott comments before the first test saying India is an one man batting team.

A lot of people in the media just say stuff to create a response. It's their job.

I'd give odds of 1000/1 of our getting a draw out of this game.

Pretty annoying to hear though, you only have to hear ashwin press conference yesterday to see how annoyed the Indian player get for their victories, records and even pitches not getting respected.

Sense the same thing with Sri Lankan players at the moment as well.

India won the toss and made a big first innings score. England were largely cooked as soon as that happened.

Thats why i said England wasted the toss advantage in first test. They should have won that match. Late declaration spoilt , otherwise England too had a great chance of following the mantra of win toss , bat first and take lead. Was expecting us not to waste the toss and glad the team has not wasted it.

And we haven't seen spin friendly wickets yet imo. Toss is going to be more crucial for tests on those wickets.

Nothing to do with the toss, England should play better and not be crap with the ball or bat

I think we should not bat beyond three hours tomorrow. Late declaration should not happen. Better is if our batters see first session with just 1 wicket, England pick lot of wickets and bowl us all out in 3rd hour so late declaration mistake cannot be made by Virat.

India didn't even really score a big total either they were 373/7. England could have easily made a game out of it if they batted and bowled better.
Excuses made from the English fans quite embarrassing really.

for me get 250 and then declare.
Wickets don't matter since India won anyway even if a crazy collapse happens.
They just need to bat to destroy England confidence
