the only batsman I felt kohli was being defensive to was Root, was given easy singles early on but then that could be down to Ashwin asking for cover to get into his spell.
Ali might have had an easy start as well but looked more like a mistake in the field since they did bring it up quickly and he did get choked out.
Stokes and bairstow barely scored runs and Hameed was quiet but assured.

well played stokes, the all round battle looks tight in this series so far.
Also kills all the statement about root dismissal being ok because the pitch was going any second and that if he didn't score at the very second england would be all out for 100.
this is a pitch where root could have gotten a hundred.
