Yep, Adelaide 2006 still lives long in the memory. Can't believe it's now ten years ago!
And India beat the Aussies in a similar manner, not long before. These two instances were both in Australia, so it could never happen here!
Don't think the scoring been quick enough, in Adelaide team were scoring 4 or 5 runs an over.
india team could barely manage 3 runs an over.
for india to get 500 it will take most of tomorrow play, not sure 4 session is enough for 10 wickets and then a run chase.
suspect india best chance of winning might be to concede a small lead and then destroy england with the ball in the 3rd innings.
with those 2 wickets makes it hard to see india getting 600 + to get a lead but lucky for them they still got batting to come so probably at worse going to concede a 120-130 deficit and you expect england to bat till they get 300-350.
so draw still very likely to happen.
looking at the way the game going suspect india will be all out around 500, but that prediction mostly depends on how england bowl tomorrow and how well india bat tomorrow.
Run rate in the Adelaide game was around 3 an over for first three days. Oz were 312/5 at end of third day so similar to this test.
