Why should a match thread be shut for me being right about england pathetic overrate.

Take it easy man . Fair enough to be critical of England for a slow over rate : I think most of us think it was a bit too slow ; but are prepared to give a team not particularly comfortable in the hot conditions here a little leeway. As for the Indian overrate : it was excellent on day one (I for one congratulated them on it ) : but it is not something that they do every match so perhaps you do not need to get quite so self righteous about it.

they bowled all 90 overs in india or asia, can't remember india actually being slow with overrates since 2011 actually.
